Reduce Your Consumption Of Calories If You Wish To Lose Weight Without Exercise

For those of you who can't always get to a workout facility because you do not have a lot of time to work out, but would like to lose weight without exercise, you will need to examine what you are eating. Specifically, you need to examine how much you are eating so you can start to take in fewer calories. If you cannot get to a workout facility, you must eat less.

I am not telling you to follow a fad diet to take in fewer calories. All I want you to do is examine how much you are eating and find ways you will be able to consume less food. Just eating a little less at every meal is not that difficult and can make a lot of difference. You should also find that, as your not exercising your appetite is not as strong.

Here Are Three Nifty Hints to Help You Cut Calories and Tame Your Cravings

For certain people, consuming fewer calories is a difficult task. As such, I have put together some suggestions that have worked for me to eat less in order to lose weight without exercise.

Trick 1. Before you sit down to eat, snack on nuts. Twenty minutes before dinner, lunch or breakfast, eat a handful of pecans, almonds, walnuts or peanuts. This works well since the nuts are full of good fats, fiber, and protein. You will notice that because your body is getting what it needs, you won't be as hungry. Twenty minutes prior to meals is critical because that is enough time for your body to register that you have eaten something and curb its appetite on its own. You can also have an apple instead of the nuts. Apples have a lot of fiber so they tame your appetite as well.

Trick 2. Quite a bit of research has shown that by using a smaller spoon, plate, or bowl can help you eat fewer calories at every meal. The studies proved that when people used bigger utensils or plates, they ate more food because they have been taught to clear their plates. Therefore the trick is to get smaller versions of each and you should eat less. I have used this method with great success. But do not sabotage yourself by getting seconds and thirds with your smaller plate.

Trick 3. Slow down as you eat If you are really hungry, then this can be more challenging. But chew everything all the way and think about what you are eating. If you focus on enjoying the food, you will eat less and feel more full than if you eat mindlessly. This technique is effective because by slowing down as you eat, your stomach has time to tell the brain that you are full. In turn, your brain will tell you that you need to stop eating.

I hope these tips have given you some idea of how to lose weight without exercise, however for long-term health and weight management then a combination of correct diet and exercise is always the best approach to take
